Crazy Straws Make Everything taste Better!!!

Had a great time back home with my family! It's always good to get to see them and have a good laugh!

I usually try to avoid going to the store (especially the mall) the day after Christmas, but decided to brave the crowds anyway.

Lucky for me and my big sister, we came across some highly desired, feats of engineering.

I present to you.....Straw Glasses!!

Why these were not introduced before the blue tooth, I will never know!

Hands free beverage enjoyment!!!

I suggest acquiring some of your own, very handy in a number of situations....

driving

a friendly game of Ms Mary Mack

discussing global warming....

all while sipping on your beverage of choice!!

Preparing for the Holidays!!

So, I've finished shopping for the family! It actually wasn't so bad! I usually feel a bit overwhelmed at the idea of having to come up with unique gift ideas. But this year, I decided the first thing that came to mind when I thought of my family, was what they will be getting for Christmas.

This got me thinking...what are some of the worst Christmas presents that people have ever received? Decided to Google it...this is what I saw.....

I was actually a bit disappointed. I was hoping for some more home-made handy crafts. You know...hand molded ashtrays and the like. Although I don't know who wouldn't be happy with a gem like the one above. Not only does it keep you warm, you have the capacity to scare every child that crosses your path.
First thing that came to mind was..Bozo the clown and the ping pong game. Do you remember that one? Great show!!
Horrible idea...clowns.

Unfortunate gift indeed.

New Shoes!!!

Ok! So I'm twelve years old again!

My closest friend in the whole wide world just bought me a wonderful gift for my trip and I can't take them off of my feet! I can literally run faster and jump higher...believe me, I already tested them out.

I even tried a pseudo climb...worked beautifully.

I can't wait to see where these shoes will take me!

Thank you Matt!!

8 more days of Work!!!

9 exclamation points alone on this one blog...I am good! ( make that 10).

Mmmm....Coffee!!!

At the Green Muse...

Here's my theory on caffeine...I've been trying to lay off the hard stuff in the evening, but to no avail I am still lacking a good night time slumber. Hmm...the only thing that I can figure is that because I am a life long subscriber to the legal yet addictive substance know as the Big "C", not consuming it leads to negative effects like sleeplessness.

Tonight I fall victim to the Big "C" and no doubt, I will sleep like a Rip Van Winkle!!! Yeah, I said it...Rip Van Freakin' Winkle. Except for the long gray beard and undoubtedly stale, heinous breath. Well, maybe the latter, but that's only because mouth breathing runs in the family. Can't be helped...small nasal cavity...happens.

On my second cup! Music is too loud and a little "street", but that never hurt anyone. I did used to live on the East Side.

So to all my homies, keepin' it real, rollin' in their six fo's, consumin' and mass producin', partakin' in the Big "C", I salute you.

Yeah, I know the last part didn't rhyme, but can you blame me?

Word!!! and Here's to a restful night sleep!

So...Driving on the wrong side of the road?

The Christmas Tree is Up!! Thanks for the advice Isi, fortunately all of my lights worked! Shew!! It looks pretty good if you ask me! Courtesy of my Big Sis Tara, who took pity on me 2 years ago. "Everyone needs a Christmas Tree!!" , she says.

So, I went to the AAA today and obtained my International Driver's Permit!! Thankfully the family I will be staying with is letting me use their car. I don't know if they know what they are getting themselves in to!!! Which leads me to a question that maybe someone can answer for me....

If you are driving a standard and you are driving on the right side of the car, are the pedals still in the same position? or are they reversed like the driver's seat? I think that I could handle shifting w/ my left hand, but I don't think I could handle having to clutch w/ my right foot!!

Well, I finally did it! I have taken the first step in my journey. I let my boss know today that I will not be returning to work after December 31st! I was so damn nervous about telling him, but surprisingly he was very supportive and reiterated what my family has been telling me all along, "Do what is Best for YOU!!" What a load off!!! Work will be much easier from now on. Waking up in the morning will hopefully not be such a chore and will mean that I am one day closer to Departure!!

47 Days to Go!!

I think I'll put up my Christmas Decorations! I'm feeling a bit festive!!

Ciao for Now!!!
